Vallejo Chiropractic is excited to announce the addition of Jamie Staton, DC, to the practice. Dr. Staton received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California.
She is accepting new chiropractic patients in our Vallejo location on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, she will be offering additional services: fire cupping, soft tissue massage, and Neuroemotional Technique (NET).
“As a healthcare provider, my intention is to spark the body’s own healing process whether it is physical or emotional,” said Dr. Staton. “Along with chiropractic manual adjustments, I use other techniques including Activator, fire cupping, and soft tissue massage. I am also a believer that emotional stress can manifest as muscle tension and other physical forms. I practice Neuroemotional Technique (NET) to help patients identify underlying emotional patterns that are causing chronic pain.”
A native of the SF Bay area, Dr. Staton enjoyed competitive cheerleading growing up and endured multiple injuries. Through these experiences, she became fascinated by the world of Sports Medicine, which led her to the University of California, Davis. During her time at Davis, she participated in the Athletic Training program working with the football and women’s soccer teams. After receiving her B.S. in Exercise Biology, she decided to further her career and become a sports chiropractor.
Currently a resident of Benicia, Dr. Staton is an avid runner and has completed multiple marathons and triathlons across the country.
“Dr. Kunsman and I are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jamie to our practice,” said Dr. John Harrington. “She brings with her all of the newest research available, thanks to her recent studies, along with a fresh new perspective for our existing patients.”
