There are a lot of new and exciting things going on at Vallejo Chiropractic and we wanted to keep all of our awesome patients in the loop.
The biggest thing you may notice is that we now have a patient check-in station at our front desk. This is part of our new patient software system which is helping Vallejo Chiropractic to become paperless. One of the benefits of going paperless is that it reduces our paper use in-office and lessens the environmental impact of running our practice. This new system also improves communication between doctors and front desk staff so the patient benefits from
Another reason Vallejo Chiropractic made the software switch was to become compliant with new regulations.
We are one of the few chiropractic offices in Solano County to take this big step towards being paperless. As a patient, you may start seeing this trend whenever you see any health professional within a few short years. Dentists, MDs, Orthodontists, and many other professional practices will probably be required to be similarly compliant in the near future. Computers have become a huge part of our everyday lives and it doesn’t look as if that trend is reversing anytime soon.
How does this impact you? The great news is that the new patient sign-in takes about 90 seconds to learn and is the same every time you come into the office. After the first visit, check-in is even faster. Outside of that, patients will still have the same great experience they have come to know and love and should see very little difference outside of the check-in process. The adjustments are still top-notch and our staff is as friendly as ever.
What happens if the computer system goes down? The good news is that we still have the tried and true paper system we have always used to track your care. Once we get everything back up and running again, all we do is input the notes that we took down by hand and we’re ready to rock n’ roll once again.
Some of you were a part of our transition phase with the new software and we thank you so much for being patient with us as we worked through our learning curve. We have gotten much more proficient implementing these new systems over the last month to make the process as smooth as possible for our patients. Thankfully, we have streamlined this process and have made it much easier for everyone.
